Another brilliant night for the STV Appeal. I was honoured to be able to photograph the live show at Gogarburn last night.

It was full of amazing, inspiring people doing all sorts of fantastic things to raise funds for this wonderful charity.

Here’s a little shot of one of the members of the very talented Scottish Fiddle Orchestra.

What a fantastic night! What a wonderful charity!

On Thursday night I got to capture a brilliant event for a charity which makes a huge difference to so many lives in Scotland.  Thank you to everyone who came and who dug deep. Well done everyone!

Here are a few pics from the evening :-)

This one looks so strange from this angle. I love how amazing the Kelpies look from each side and how different they appear depending on the light. When the sun sets you can see little flickers of light shining through their metal structures. Really beautiful!

I took a wee trip to see the Kelpies yesterday. Edinburgh was rainy and windy and cold but as soon as I got to Helix Park I was greeted with beautiful evening sky, glorious sunshine and in turn, a stunning sunset.

I am definitely going back for a night session armed with snacks and hot drinks.

    Well worth a visit!

I am back! After a few weeks of silence here I am. So much has happened, so many photos have been taken and I promise to share them as soon as I can!

I wanted to share this one before I do anything else. Initially, I completely overlooked it but then came across it again and fell in love with it. It was taken in the evening, when there was hardly any good light left. We took a stroll onto the green and… relaxed.

Weddings are so fast moving, sometimes stressful and always really emotionally charged; that’s why it’s always nice to see the couple beginning to relax and really enjoy the evening. This is what happened here :-)

Kevin and Natasha’s wedding day! What a wonderful and lovely couple. I had a fantastic day capturing their big day. Initially we all hated the misty and wet weather but it turned out to be our best friend, creating soft light and a mysterious (and very Scottish) atmosphere.

It’s amazing how very human their behaviour is… The young one trying to push the boundaries and the dad putting him in his place. Fascinating to watch!
